**Important Honda Vehicle Recalls for Fuel Pump and Seat Belt Concerns**


Several Honda vehicles have had recent recalls due to safety concerns related to fuel pump and seat belt issues. It is crucial for owners of these models to be informed about the recalls and take necessary action promptly to ensure their safety and the safety of others on the road.

Recall for Fuel Pump Failure Risk

Honda is recalling various models from 2013 to 2023, including Honda Accord, Civic, CR-V, HR-V, Ridgeline, Odyssey, Insight, Clarity, Fit, Pilot, Accord Hybrid, CR-V Hybrid, and Acura vehicles such as ILX, MDX, RDX, RLX, TLX, NSX. The recall involves a potential failure of the fuel pump inside the fuel tank, which could result in engine stalling while driving, posing a risk of accidents.

Owners of the affected vehicles are urged to contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. The remedy for this issue includes the replacement of the fuel pump module free of charge. Owner letters were sent out on September 6, 2024. This recall expands on previous recalls identified with NHTSA recall numbers 21V-215 and 20V-314.

Recall for Seat Belt Buckle Interference

Another recall by Honda involves models from 2017 to 2020, such as CR-V, Accord, Accord Hybrid, Odyssey, Insight, and Acura RDX. The manufacturing issue pertains to front seat belts, where the seat belt buckle channel may interfere with the release button, preventing proper latching. This could lead to unlatched seat belts that might fail to restrain occupants correctly during a crash, increasing the risk of injuries.

For this recall, owners should reach out to Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138 using the recalls identifiers NDA, QDB, BDC, MDD, LD9, TDF, FDG, ODH, YDI, ZDE. Dealers will replace the driver and front passenger seat belt buckle release buttons or the buckle assemblies as necessary at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 18, 2023.
